HTML to PDF
Save a hall ticket, an article or a receipt page as a PDF to read or print anytime.

Make PDF draws each page as an image with an invisible text layer, so text stays searchable. Print, then Save as PDF gives vector text with the browser's own page breaks.

Good to know
- A scale of 60% or 70% gives a web page its wide desktop layout on an A4 page.
- Add break-before: page to a heading in your HTML to start it on a new page.
- In pasted HTML, use full https:// addresses for images; relative ones only resolve for pages loaded by address.
- Scripts are removed before rendering, so pages you do not trust are safe to convert.
Questions people ask
How do I convert HTML to PDF?
Paste your HTML into the editor, load a page by its address, or open an .html file. The preview shows the pages as they will print; press Make PDF to download.
Why does a web page not load, or look different?
Many sites do not let other pages fetch them. The tool then tries public CORS proxies, and some sites block those too. Scripts never run, so anything a page builds with JavaScript is missing. If a page will not load, save it from your browser (Ctrl+S) and open the file.
Does it follow CSS page breaks?
Yes. break-before: page and break-after: page (and the older page-break-before and page-break-after) start a new page, and break-inside: avoid keeps a box together when it fits on one page. Elsewhere pages break between lines, images and table rows, and table headers repeat.
Can I select and search the text in the PDF?
Yes. Each page is an image with an invisible text layer, so search and copy work. Print, then Save as PDF uses your browser's own engine instead: vector text and working links, with the browser's page breaks.
Is my HTML uploaded?
No. Pasted HTML and opened files stay in your browser, and the PDF is built on your device with pdf-lib. When you load a page by its address, or your HTML uses images and stylesheets from other sites, those files are downloaded from that site, or through a public CORS proxy when the site does not allow direct access.
