How to make a stamp

  1. Pick a stamp

    Choose a round, oval, square, rectangle or triangle stamp, or start from blank.

  2. Change the words and ink

    Type your company or school name, pick an ink colour and add a worn look if you like.

  3. Download

    PNG with a see-through background, SVG for engraving, or PDF for printing.

Questions people ask

Can I make any office or company seal?

Only for your own business, office or organisation, or with its permission. Making or using a fake seal, or a copy of a government emblem, is a crime, and the person who does it is responsible. sdev.in only provides the tool.

How do I put the stamp on a document?

Download the PNG. Its background is see-through, so it sits cleanly on letters, bills and certificates in Word, Google Docs or any PDF editor. Copy picture puts it on the clipboard so you can paste it straight in.

Can a rubber stamp maker use this design?

Yes. Download the SVG, which stays sharp at any size, or the PNG at Extra large. Tell the maker the size shown, for example 45 mm round.

How do I change the words around the circle?

Open Words. Each line has its own box: the top curve, the bottom curve and the lines in the middle. Type and the stamp updates. To move or resize a line, drag it on the stamp.

What is the worn look?

Real stamps leave small gaps where the ink did not take. The Worn look slider adds that, so a digital stamp looks pressed by hand. Leave it at zero for a clean seal.

Is a digital seal legally valid?

A picture of a seal is not a signature. Use stamps for your own documents and letters, and follow your organisation's rules for official papers. Never copy a seal that belongs to someone else.

Is anything uploaded?

No. The stamp is drawn and saved in your browser. Only if you sign in and press Save is the design kept on your account.
