Write a ready message
Tap a template such as Order or Appointment, or type your own. Customers see this message already typed when the chat opens.
Share the link or QR
Copy the link for your profile, ads or messages, download the QR code for a poster or visiting card, or copy the website button.
Good to know
- Put the link in your social profile, online ads, email signature or the order button of your website.
- Keep the ready message short and clear, like a customer would write it, so it is easy to send as is.
- Use a mobile number that has the chat app installed; a landline number will not open a chat.
- The QR code holds the link with your message, so a long message makes a denser code. Test it with your own phone before printing.
- Your number goes into the link as digits with the country code, with no plus, spaces or leading 0, which is the form chat apps expect.
Questions people ask
What is a click to chat link?
A web link that opens a chat with your number in the chat app on the phone or computer, with your message already typed. The customer only has to press send, and does not need to save your number first.
Which number format should I type?
Type the mobile number as you would dial it in your country, such as 98400 12345 for India, and pick the country. You can also paste it with the country code, like +91 98400 12345; the country is picked from the code.
Why does it say my number is not valid?
Indian mobile numbers have 10 digits and start with 6, 7, 8 or 9. Other countries are checked against their usual length. Remove extra digits, and leave out the leading 0 if you are unsure.
Can I print the QR code?
Yes. Download the PNG for print or a shop poster, or the SVG for any size without blur. Scanning it opens the chat with your message ready.
Is my number sent anywhere?
No. The link and the QR code are made in your browser. Nothing you type is uploaded or saved by this page.
