Use the arrows to reorder. To take only some pages from a file, type a range such as 1-3, 5 in its pages box.
Merge and download
Press Merge. The result is ready in a moment with a Download button.
Good to know
- The same file can be added twice to repeat pages, for example a cover sheet before every section.
- A range can be open ended: 4- takes page 4 to the end.
- Form fields and bookmarks from the source files are not carried over; page content, links and images are.
- Large scans merge fine; the work runs in a web worker so the page stays responsive.
Questions people ask
How do I merge PDF files into one?
Add the files, put them in order with the arrows, and press Merge. The combined PDF downloads as merged.pdf. Everything happens in your browser.
Can I take only some pages from a file?
Yes. Type a selection such as 1-3, 5 or 8- in the pages box next to that file. Leave it empty to take every page.
Does merging change the quality?
No. Pages are copied as they are, with their fonts, images and links. The output is about the size of the inputs added together.
Why does a file say password protected?
Files that need a password to open cannot be read. Open the file in your PDF viewer, save a copy without the password, and add that copy.
Are my PDF files uploaded?
No. Every step runs inside your browser with the pdf-lib and pdf.js libraries. Files never leave your device, there is no size or count limit beyond your computer's memory, and nothing is stored when you close the tab.
