How to convert images to PDF

  1. Add the images

    Choose files or drop them on the box, as many as you like. Thumbnails show the order.

  2. Set the page

    Pick a page size, orientation and margin. Auto orientation turns the page to match each image.

  3. Make the PDF

    Press Make PDF and download the result. Re-encode as JPEG makes the file smaller.

Good to know

  • Photos from a phone are large. Re-encode as JPEG at 80 turns a 40 MB batch into a few megabytes with no visible change.
  • Fit to image is right for scans and screenshots: no white border, the page is exactly the picture.
  • SVG files are rendered to PNG at their declared size before being placed.
  • HEIC photos from iPhones cannot be decoded by most browsers; export them as JPEG first.

Questions people ask

How do I convert several JPGs to one PDF?

Add the images, put them in order with the arrows, choose a page size and press Make PDF. Each image becomes one page and the PDF downloads.

Will the images be resized?

They are scaled to fit inside the page and margins while keeping their proportions, and centred. Fit to image makes each page the size of the image instead.

How do I make the PDF smaller?

Tick Re-encode as JPEG. Every image is saved as a JPEG at the quality you set before it goes into the PDF, which shrinks big phone photos a lot.

Does it keep transparency?

PNG and WebP transparency is kept unless you re-encode as JPEG, which fills transparent areas with white.

Are my PDF files uploaded?

No. Every step runs inside your browser with the pdf-lib and pdf.js libraries. Files never leave your device, there is no size or count limit beyond your computer's memory, and nothing is stored when you close the tab.
