  • Private: your photos never leave this device
  • Nothing is uploaded or stored on a server
  • Cropped right here in your browser

How it works

  • The photo is opened upright using the camera's turn tag, then the box is cut out pixel for pixel.
  • Big photos are worked on in a background worker, one at a time, so the page never freezes.
  • Saved files carry no camera details or location unless you ask to keep them.

How to crop a photo

  1. Add your photos

Choose photos or a folder, drop them on the box, or paste a copied picture. The first one opens in the editor.

  2. Pick a shape and drag the box

Tap a shape such as Square or Story, then drag the box or its corners. Type exact pixels if a form asks for them.

  3. Download

Download this photo, or press Apply to all and save every photo as one zip at full quality.

Good to know

  • The lines inside the box split it in thirds. Put eyes or the horizon on a line for a balanced photo.
  • Arrow keys move the box by 1 pixel, Shift with an arrow by 10. Alt with an arrow makes it bigger or smaller.
  • Apply to all keeps the same place and share of each photo, so a batch of mixed sizes still crops evenly.
  • Round crop saves a PNG, because JPG cannot keep see-through corners.
  • Zoom the view to place the edges exactly on a big photo.

Questions people ask

How do I crop a photo to a square?

Add the photo, tap Square, then drag the box over the part you want. Download saves just that square at full quality.

How do I crop to an exact size in pixels?

Type the X, Y, width and height under Exact box. They are pixels of the original photo, so the saved file is exactly that size.

Can I crop many photos at once?

Yes. Add them all, set the box on one photo and press Apply to all. Save all makes one zip with every photo cropped the same way.

How do I make a round profile photo?

Tick Round crop. The shape turns square, and the saved PNG has see-through corners so it sits cleanly on any background.

Does cropping lower the quality?

No. The kept part keeps its original pixels. Pick PNG for no loss at all, or keep JPG at quality 92 for a small file that looks the same.

Are my photos uploaded anywhere?

No. Every photo is opened and saved inside your browser on this device. Nothing is sent to a server, so family photos, ID cards and work pictures stay with you.
