Questions people ask
How do I make college ID cards online for a whole batch?
Put one student per row in an Excel or CSV sheet: name, register number, department, batch, blood group, phone and valid till. Load it in Names list and every student gets a card, made in your browser. Hundreds of cards take only seconds.
What details go on a college ID card?
The college name, logo and address, the student's photo and name, register or roll number, course and department, batch years, blood group, valid till date and the principal's signature. Many colleges add a barcode for the library.
Can the barcode or QR code hold each student's register number?
Yes. Click the barcode or QR code and set its value to the register number column. Each card then gets its own code, which library and attendance scanners can read.
Can I make faculty and staff ID cards too?
Yes. Pick All under Made for in the templates panel to see faculty and staff designs, or change the word STUDENT on any card to FACULTY or STAFF.
Which size are the cards?
The standard ID card size, 85.6 x 54 mm (CR80), upright or sideways. It fits PVC card printers and ordinary card holders and lanyards.
Can I make a certificate or ID card for any institution?
Only for your own school, college, company or event, or with the issuer's permission. Making or using a fake or copied certificate, mark sheet or ID card is a crime, and the person who does it is responsible. sdev.in only provides the tool and does not check or vouch for any document.
