How to record your screen with sound

Record your screen to walk a colleague, a class or your family through the steps.

A screen recording shows exactly what you mean. Pick what to share, turn on the sound you want, and press one button.

    Step 1 of 5

    Pin the icon

    Open the puzzle-piece menu in the toolbar and pin Screen Recorder, so it's one click away.

    Step 2 of 5

    Pick what to record

    Click the icon. Choose This tab to record only the page you're on, or Screen or window for anything else.

    Turn on sound

    Turn on Microphone for your voice, and Tab sound or Computer sound for what the page plays. Clean up my voice cuts echo and background noise.

    Step 4 of 5

    Press Start recording

    Or press Alt+Shift+E. For a screen or window, pick it in the browser's share window. A countdown gives you a moment to get ready.

    Step 5 of 5

    Stop and edit

    Click the icon and press Stop and edit, or press Alt+Shift+E again. The editor opens with your recording.

That's it. You're done.
