How to export a screen recording as MP4

Export makes the video on your own computer, so nothing waits in an upload queue. Pick the size the place you're posting to expects.

   Click Export

   It's at the top right of the editor.

   Pick a file type

   MP4 plays everywhere. WebM is smaller for the web. Sound only saves an M4A of the audio.

   Pick a size and quality

   Choose 360p to 4K, or Original size. Small file, Standard or Best trades size for sharpness; the dialog shows the expected file size.

   Export in parts if you need

   Add part markers on the timeline and each part becomes its own file.

   Save the file

   Press Export. The file goes to your downloads when it's done.
