Hola Mohalla wishes for family (12)

Happy Hola Mohalla to my dear family. May the spirit of the Khalsa keep us brave, humble and together.
Dad, thank you for taking us to Anandpur Sahib as kids to watch the Nihang Singhs ride. I still remember the drums.
May our family always carry the courage and discipline that Guru Gobind Singh Ji taught.
Happy Hola Mohalla from [Your name] and family. Chardi Kala to all of you.
To my brothers and sisters, may we stand for each other the way the Khalsa stands for the weak.
Wishing my family a Hola Mohalla of langar, kirtan and bright colours.
May the elders' blessings and the youngsters' energy fill our home this Hola Mohalla.
Whether at Anandpur Sahib or our local Gurdwara, may we celebrate together in high spirits.
May Waheguru keep our family in Chardi Kala this Hola Mohalla and always.
May our children grow up fearless, honest and ready to serve. Happy Hola Mohalla, family.
Holi yesterday, Hola Mohalla today. Two days of joy for one lucky family.
May the langar we serve together today remind us that every guest is family.

About Hola Mohalla

Hola Mohalla is a Sikh festival held the day after Holi, on the first of the month of Chet, in March. Guru Gobind Singh Ji began it in 1701 at Anandpur Sahib, turning the festival of colours into a day for showing courage, skill and discipline.

For about three days Anandpur Sahib in Punjab hosts a great gathering. Nihang Singhs in blue ride horses, show gatka (Sikh martial arts), swordplay and mock battles, and a procession moves with nagara drums and Nishan Sahib flags.

There is kirtan, poetry and Gurbani, and huge langars serve free food to everyone who comes. Gurdwaras in other places and abroad mark the day with prayers, kirtan and langar.

How to wish well

Happy Hola Mohalla or lakh lakh vadhaiyan suit everyone. Chardi Kala, rising spirits, fits the day well.
Speak of courage, service and the saint-soldier ideal; keep the Gurus and Gurbani respectful.
It falls the day after Holi, so a Holi wish followed by a Hola Mohalla wish the next day is thoughtful for Sikh friends.
